Be careful what you wish for!
Let’s compare the record of Slaven Bilic in his first 20 Premier League games to Sam Allardyce’s last 20, shall we?

Points – 32 vs 16: Bilic ahead by 16.
Goals – 23 vs 15: Bilic ahead by eight.
Shots on target – 94 vs 74: Bilic ahead by 20.
Chances created – 206 vs 182: Bilic ahead by 24.

Bilic has spent less money than Allardyce did in his final season, too. Despite a string of damaging injuries, West Ham have the longest unbeaten run in the Premier League, are up to sixth in the table, have the third best record in the division against top-half teams and have completed a league double over Liverpool for the first time since 1964.

The media will be at our game with their headlines already written.

It'll all be along the lines of, "Ungrateful West Ham cunts abuse the man that saved their club from oblivion"

I would rather his return be greeted with silence, but like most people, I probably won't be able to resist the opportunity to voice my contempt of the man.

I would be gutted if he pulls that off.

Doesn't matter if they go down, it won't in ANY way be his fault.

I think we all know what will happen.

Still, they'll be lower than us and we're better than them.

Another win for us.

We've got Sunderland in Feb on BT Sport.

Time to let BFS and the footballing world know what we think of the OAF.

I think it would be lovely to see Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland go down this year.

One Mac;

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/blackburn-rovers/7649634/Premier-League-needs-39th-game-says-Blackburns-Sam-Allardyce.html

Doesn't specifically state about the 39th game being overseas though. Maybe there's another article that notes that.

My mistake: you're correct.

1964,
I think you'll find that was our 21st game.

I'll never forgive him for what he did to the youngsters in the cup. That humiliation on a day which, for most of them, should have been really special must have been soul destroying and confidence crushing. Not to mention how cubtish it was to all the away support.

I have nothing against Sunderland but I'll be delighted if he finally gets a team relegated.

The especially genius thing about his premier league rant is that it was put to him that the midweek fixtures may be scheduled for the overseas market, which he says he doesn't care about and that the premier league doesn't need more money. ...

Having spent the last 3 years babbling on about a 39th game to be played overseas to cater for the overseas market.

I fucking hate him.
